The London Swing and Soul Band is entirely unique in its offering of the best in Anglo-American Swing/Soul/Rock/Pop dance music AS WELL AS a decade of experience performing at international events, exploring the repertoire of Cuba, France, Israel, Egypt, Russia, Italy, Brazil and many more countries.
Priveleged and honoured to have been asked to perform for the Ambassadors of Poland, Belgium and Malaysia, The London Swing and Soul Band has also performed at multiple private events of Jewish/Israeli, Italian, Indian, Sri Lankan, Russian, French, Mexican, Chinese and Iranian clients, and in each case, adapted and learnt repertoire (and langauge) to entertain in the home language of their guests!
Hailing from London – maybe the most cosmopolitan city in the world – the band is a collection of nationalities include: Italian, Russian, Lituanian, French, Brazilian, Cuban, Colombian, Israeli and of course British.
London-born bandleader, Daniel, sings in 9 languages and organises festivals and workshops with singers in France and Spain. With family from Morocco, Spain, Russia and the UK, he is passionate about languages and world music. He has also lived in France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland and The Middle East, as well as travelled extensively on cruise ships and tours. Whilst living in Switzerland, he was responsible for booking musicians and artists for various Jazz and Blues festivals all over Europe, including The Montreux Jazz Festival where he was programme coordinator with the late David Richards for 5 years between 2003-2008.
